I don't think were in Kansas anymore

My parents live in central Massachusetts and I am staying there before I move down to the cape for the summer. Im sure it isn't news to any of you who have turned on a television or talked to another human being today, that there was some pretty crazy weather. I know that from time to time we get some intense weather in new England, and sometimes we are issued tornado watches. But this time tornado warnings were issued suggesting that one had been spotted or that there is definite possibility of it happening. Of all places, central Massachusetts, so strange. As we listened to the weather channel and how close the severe weather was, my family walked outside and I have some pretty moving video on my phone of clouds just spinning so fast and coming in from ever direction. Leaves fell from the sky as well, not ,eaves blowing off trees, I'm talking it was raining leaves, as in leaves from trees miles away that were picked up and dropped. I just went and got gas in the next town over quick and took the back way home and all you can smell is fresh cut trees. Nearly every house on that road had a tree in it or in front of it, all of the telephone poles were either snapped in half or bent over.
It is just crazy to think that in the area we live in where our worst threat is extreme cold and blizzards, we are facing tornadoes now.
